MovingWorlds Institute is Coming to Europe (and we couldn’t be more excited)

2018 is well underway, and in many ways, it has a very similar feel to 2017. Certainly, there is hope. Indeed, data shows that there is progress. But there are still many challenges and no shortage of strife and growing inequalities.

If the world is going to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, then we must accelerate our progress. To achieve this, the World Economic Forum has called for a global movement to create more responsible leaders.

And in our seemingly more siloed world, we believe it’s our job to help people create more opportunities for connection. Not only can cross-border and cross-cultural exchanges transfer skills to the parts of the world that need them the most, but they also help us learn and grow as individuals. By consistently adding new locations for our programs, like bringing the Institute’s Global Fellowship program to Europe, we are creating more opportunities for our professional community to connect, learn, and create impact.

The MovingWorlds Institute is our premier program for working professionals. Over the 6 month Fellowship, we’ll convene for an in-person kick-off and training weekend in Amsterdam and continue our momentum and learning through a tightly connected virtual community. In the process, we’ll support each other as we develop our leadership skills, learn more about social entrepreneurship, and design a professional path towards a purposeful career that creates a positive impact. In the middle of the program, all Fellows will embark on their own Experteering project that aligns with their skills and growth goals.

In addition to the world-class content and speakers provided by the Institute — and our industry leader mentors — there are three other factors that make this program so catalytic.

First: Every Fellow in our Institute will go through our Experteering matching process that connects you to a skills-based volunteer project abroad where you can immediately and directly apply everything you’ve learned from the Fellowship.

Second: Your peers will hold you accountable to growth, and support you through your own transformation; just as you support them in theirs.

Third: As a Fellow, you’ll join a global community of impact-makers from every region of the world, who are constantly in the pursuit of personal and professional growth and can help you grow your network in the Fellowship and beyond.

Our Institute’s Global Fellowship is available to professionals from around the world, and we’ll continue to move our kickoff locations to make it more accessible for everyone.
